Microsoft Event 2019:
Microsoft are announcing broadest Surface lineup ever – with five new products coming this holiday and two new dual-screen devices, Surface Neo and Surface Duo, coming in Holiday 2020.
When microsoft started Surface, A vision to remove the conflict between the tablet and laptop. What started as an effort to create the two-in-one evolved into a full line of products that are more versatile, more adaptable and more personal.
We know that to be your best, you need devices that adapt to you to help you accomplish your goals. These new products are about empowering you to be your most productive, and your most creative.
Microsoft are announcing list:
1)Surface Neo and Duo: Surface Neo enables you to do more, anywhere. A groundbreaking new dual-screen device with 2 9” screens, a revolutionary 360° hinge, touch, pen, keyboard
Microsoft had one last surprise at its Surface event: a foldable Surface Duo phone that runs Android. The design of the device resembles Microsoft’s just-announced dual-screen Surface Neo laptop, but on a smaller, pocketable scale. The Surface Duo features two 5.6-inch displays
Meet Windows 10x.
Windows 10X will be available on dual-screen and foldable devices starting in the fall of 2020, in time for the holiday season. These will include both Microsoft Surface and devices from several Windows ecosystem partners including ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo
Surface Family
While there are a few items to get through, probably the marquee announcement for AnandTech readers is the Surface Laptop 3 family
Surface Laptop 3
Surface Laptop 3 is Microsoft's most powerful laptop yet, and it charges fast, too. Microsoft's Surface Laptop 3 has USB-C, a bigger screen and a modular design. It comes in 13.5- and 15-inch models and starts at $999.
Surface Pro 7
Surface Pro 7 will still feature an Intel processor The Surface Pro 7 will feature an Intel processor, rather than Qualcomm. The Surface Pro 7 will offer 10th-generation Intel Core processors with a choice between Core i3, i5, and i7 models. The i3 model will be a dual-core processor. The i5 and i7 are both quad-core
Surface Pro X
The $999 Surface Pro X delivers a phone-like Windows experience, while the Surface Pro 7 updates the Pro 6 tablet, now with USB-C
Surface Earbuds
The Surface Earbuds were announced at today's event in New York City. They'll be available “later this year” for $249. The Surface Earbuds are tuned for both music and voice performance — Microsoft is pitching them as a must-have Office accessory with dictation and excellent call quality.
